Contractors buy a verified appointment, not a guaranteed sale. Here is exactly what verified means.

Public-records check
The name, phone number and address are matched against public and commercial records, and the ZIP code has to exist. Duplicates from the last 30 days are rejected.
- Step 2
Compliance screen
The phone number is screened against compliance risk databases. The consent wording and the opt-in proof are reviewed before an appointment can be listed.
- Step 3
Confirmation call, recorded
We call the homeowner to confirm they asked for the service, the details and the appointment time. Contractors get that recording with the appointment.
Every appointment then gets a proof score, Gold, Silver or Bronze, from the evidence behind it: recordings, consent certificates, ad screenshots. Better proof pays the publisher more, so honest sources earn more than weak ones.
Buyer refunds
If the homeowner says they never booked, we review it and refund approved disputes in full.
Publisher payouts
Paid after the appointment, with nothing deducted. Clean records are paid in 48 or 24 hours.
Payments by Stripe
Cards, bank transfers and payouts run through Stripe. RealLead never stores card numbers.

If the customer says they never booked it, or it's fraudulent, report it from the appointment's page within 72 hours after the appointment time. Our agent calls the customer to check, and approved disputes are refunded in full. No-shows, cancellations and customers who don't buy aren't refundable: you're buying a verified appointment, not a guaranteed sale.
